Winning a free trip to Las Vegas

As someone who loves all things Las Vegas, I always notice that people are offering ways to win free trips to Las Vegas, and of course I always try to take them up on their offers. So far I have managed to get three free trips to Las Vegas, and enjoyed all of them. Let’s take a look at the most common way to win a free trip.

The first way and perhaps the most painful way is to check out timeshares in Las Vegas or close to where you live and they offer a free Las Vegas vacation as an incentive to listen to their sales pitch. I have done this, and listened to a “hard” sale presentation for two hours, and jumped through a few hoops to get my free vacation. Was it worth it? It was to me because I received two plane tickets & hotel accommodations in a decent Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. I did have to fly in off-peak hours and went during the week, not the weekend. If you hate listening to sales pitches this may not be for you.

Have you ever heard of taking surveys? Well, there are a lot of survey companies out there and they need opinions, and they will offer incentives, sometimes a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. I took just such a survey a while back and I won! So a friend and me headed out to Las Vegas for the weekend for a fully paid vacation where the plane tickets, hotel, and several free meal (buffets) tickets where all provided for free. That was a great weekend!

The last and maybe the easiest way to win a free Las Vegas vacation is look for local charities raffling off a free trip, and if your ever asked a great way to raise money for a good cause recommend raffling off a Vegas vacation. Of course I’ve lost more raffles than I have won but the money goes to a good cause, and if you do win, you get to go to Vegas!

One thing to remember about winning any vacation is that you will still need to pay the taxes, usually ahead of time, and some contest limit the exact times you can go, but if you don’t mind jumping through a few hoops, you can win a free Las Vegas Vacation and who knows, you may parlay that into a great winning streak while there!!
